June and July continue with great momentum
June into early July continued the great momentum welcoming groups such as the ALA 2023 Annual Conference & Exhibits, SNMMI 2023 Annual Meeting, the 2023 USA Volleyball Girls 14-17s Junior National Championship (see below), ADHA23 Annual Conference, NIKE National Invitational Tournament 2023, and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority 2023 Leadership Conference. July won’t slow down with IFT FIRST 2023, UnidosUS 2023 Annual Conference, ASI 2023 Chicago, and the Annual National Homeland Security Conference 2023. We hope to be welcoming your group to Chicago soon as well!

Chicago was thrilled to play host to the second annual ConferenceDirect Diversity Summit, June 20 – 23. Over 150 attendees met, networked, and experienced various activities showcasing Chicago’s vast diversity and culture.
USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship
For the first time ever, Chicago welcomed the USA Volleyball Girls 14-17s Junior National Championship (USAV GNJC) to McCormick Place North and South, June 28 – July 6. Over 1,360 teams qualified and were accepted for this prestigious tournament. Nearly 60,000 athletes, coaches, officials, family, and friends were expected in Chicago for the tournament. USAV GJNC utilized over fifty-five downtown hotels, and booked 66,600 total room nights. The estimated economic impact on Chicago is over $124M. Thank you USA Volleyball!
